\section{General formatting instructions}

Papers are limited to a maximum of 4 pages. The pages must have an overall width of
17.2 cm, with two columns of 8.25 cm wide each, and 0.7 cm of
space between columns. The left margin must have 2.5 cm and the right
margin 1.3 cm (considering A4 paper, 21 $\times$ 29.7 cm). The upper
margin of all the pages must be of 2.5 cm and the length of the text is 23.7
cm (generating a lower margin of 3.5 cm in A4 paper).

The pages must not be numbered. Paper title is centered. Authors' name
are centered too. The normal text of the paper must be in 11pt.
The LaTeX style file (eusflat2001.cls),
the example file generating this page (eusflat2001.tex),
and the MS-WORD example (eusflat2001.doc)
can be found in the Conference web page (\texttt{http://eusflat2001.cse.dmu.ac.uk}).

\section{Footnotes and Citations}

Footnotes must be numbered\footnote{Example of footnote.}, and placed at the bottom of the column where they
appear.

Citations must include the reference number between
brackets, for example \cite{bibli}. References must be sorted by the author name.

\section{Figures and Tables}

All figures must be centered like Figure \ref{figure1}. The number
and caption of the figure must always appear below the figure.

  \caption{Example of figure title}
  \label{figure1}
\end{figure}

\subsection{Tables}

All tables must be centered and clear. The number and title always
appear above the table (See Table \ref{table}).
\begin{table}[ht]

\begin{tabular}{|c|l|} \hline
    {\bf NAME} & {\bf DESCRIPTION} \\ \hline $A$ &   Fuzzy subset of $X$
\\ $\mu_{A}$ & Membership function of $A$ \\ \hline
\end{tabular}
\end{center}
\end{table}
